Augusta Health is a 255 bed, not-for-profit, community hospital established to meet the health care needs of the citizens of Augusta County, Virginia including the cities of Staunton and Waynesboro. The hospital provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and physician services through its acute care and specialty care facilities. Augusta Health has two supporting organizations, Augusta Medical Group - a community physician group; and the Augusta Health Foundation - the philanthropy arm of Augusta Health. Our organization has been recognized by the U.S. News & World Report as a Best Regional Hospital in the Shenandoah Valley for 2019 and 2020. Augusta Health has also been nationally recognized with an 'A' for the Fall 2020 and 2021 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.
