Company History:

1780s – Founded by Alexander Hamilton in1784 as one of the first US Banks, we issued the first loan to the US government.
1790s – The first stock traded on the New York Stock Market in 1792, which became the NYSE.
1880s – One of the first banks to offer bank accounts to women.
1970s – Launched the first money market fund.
1980s – Introduced the first tri-party repo trade.
1990s – Launched the first European ETF and First bank to process securities over the internet!
2000s – First International wire and The Bank of New York and Mellon merge – creating BNY Mellon!
2010s – First to launch a mobile trading app!
