Clinical Supervisor, Respite Services

CSO is looking for a Clinical Supervisor for our Respite Services program in Greenfield. 
Our Respite services offer clients a quiet, home-like atmosphere. We provide daily assessment and brief counseling, case management, nursing support and peer support. Respite services have recovery and wellness focused groups, psychiatric consultation when needed and also provide discharge planning. 
As a Respite Supervisor you will provide clinical supervision and program development which includes assessment of clients, development of residential programming, oversight of nursing and healthcare procedures, and consultation to staff regarding case management.  

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the CCS/Respite Program of Crisis Services including intake, treatment and discharge of all CCS/Respite clients.
  • Maintain regular and timely communication with Program Director regarding clinical, procedural and operational issues, medication and healthcare, and safety issues at the CCS/Respite Program.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision of all CCS/Respite staff as needed and in collaboration with the Program Director. Conduct annual performance evaluations and performance management throughout the year.
  • Oversee recruitment, orientation and training of new CCS/Respite staff. Plan and support ongoing training opportunities in collaboration with the Program Director.
  • Coordinate supervision of Respite Peer-Bridgers with the CSO Supervisor of Peer Services.
  • Be knowledgeable and oversee fulfillment of requirements for insurance authorization and billing for CCS/Respite clients.
  • Meet with individual CCS/Respite clients for assessment and/or clinical case management as needed.
  • Work with the Program Director to collaborate closely with DMH around the DMH Respite contract and the fulfillment of the DMH Respite contract. Meet with DMH personnel as needed.
  • Work with DMH, DPH, third party and other regulatory authorities regarding record keeping and adherence to regulations and requirements.
  • Be knowledgeable and current regarding all CSO Policies and Procedures applicable to the CCS/Respite program. 

Qualifications
Clinical Master's Degree with three years of experience working with people diagnosed with mental illness and/or behavioral health challenges required; experience in crisis services , residential or in-patient care preferred. Three years of supervisory experience; strong leadership, communication skills, and computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software. Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
