Transportation & Logistics' Intern - Summer 2022

What you will be doing:  
We plan, manage, and execute movement of over 500,000 pieces of product per week over 45 million miles for our customer deliveries. 


As a Transportation/Logistics Intern, you can expect to:  
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify new ways to improve day to day process for service and efficiency improvements  
  • Identify and create opportunities for process improvements  
  • Discover customer satisfaction improvements for inbound, outbound, and shuttle deliveries.  

Who you are:  
  • Do you consider the present and the future when making decisions? Identify proactive measures for Logistics.  
  • Do macros and VLOOKUP excite you?  
  • Can you tell a story from data and translate numbers into words that any audience can comprehend?

  • Can you work efficiently when situations occur that are out of your control?  

Qualifications:  
  • Previous transportation/supply chain internship is a bonus  
  • You have analytic and programming experience  
  • You have an understanding and willingness to learn ERP Systems (SAP)  
  • YearJunior, Senior 
  • Major: Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Operations Engineering, Business, Logistics, Transportation, Operations Management, Information Systems, MIS, CIS

***Internship length: 14 weeks - May 9-August 12, 2022
Salary Range - $18- $23/hr
Additional Compensation: We provide relocation assistance and a housing subsidy for students to come and live in Grand Rapids.
