Graphic Design Internship

Dim Events, LLC is looking for students in the Chicagoland area by providing an internship with a strong focus on innovative thinking through graphic work while working with clients and being mentored by the owner. During your internship period, we put together a mini agency where interns from different programs have the ability to come together to work on client projects, research/strategize, and brainstorm ideas to build the client’s brand. If you are that person who is constantly looking to create new lanes for work and not copying what is out there. This internship may be for you! We are a boutique company that loves innovation and new ideas, we require our interns to experiment with new trends and concepts. 
Responsibilities & Duties: 
Job duties would include, but not be limited to:
  • Assist with creating visuals for client presentations
  • Build ideas and concepts with social media intern to help gain more clients
  • Have the chance to pitch ideas to clients
  • Complete tasks of understanding the scope of the business
  • Build upon your portfolio by creating weekly visuals for clients and internal use
  • Work internally with social media and marketing interns to portray correct messages
Qualifications We'd Love You To Have: 
  • Willingness to learn
  • 1-2 years of graphic designer experience 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks 
  • Self-Motivated (Very Important)
  • Professional and Polished

  • Strong research skills

  • Ability to broaden the spectrum of design (brand identity proposal, logo design, poster design, product design, etc.)

Technical Skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Background or experience in web design is preferred but not required
