Extreme Blue Technical Leadership Program: Data Science Summer Intern 2022

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer Intern in Extreme Blue, you’ll be tackling cutting edge AI and solving predictive problems on an accelerated timeline. The best candidates will have experience working with both supervised and unsupervised methods, cleaning and working with imperfect data, and integrating your models into full systems. You’ll be working with a cross-functional team to build a whole application, and expected to work within your team to contribute to the whole project, even outside your domain. If you are looking for a challenge and to grow your skillsets into other domains, both technical and business, we want you!

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Basic knowledge of statistical programming in a language such as Python or R
  • Proven experience working with statistical models

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Familiarity with common tools like numpy, pandas, sci-kit learn, tensorflow, keras, etc
  • Familiarity with feature engineering
  • Familiarity with data cleaning
  • Familiarity with unsupervised models
