2022 Summer Intern Program: Talent Pipelining (Evergreen) Requisition - Environmental & Sustainability
As a Covanta Summer Intern, you will be exposed to different areas of the business, while making meaningful contributions to the company. Participants in the program will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, engage with other interns and partake in immersive, hands-on projects that grant real-world experience. Utilizing what they’ve learned at Covanta, many graduates of the intern program go on to have successful careers focused on sustainability. At the end of internship, you may be invited to present at the Intern Experience Share event.
We expect to have 20+ Summer Intern positions to support various business areas such as Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Project Execution, Continuous Improvement, Procurement, Metals Management, Sustainability, Environmental, Health & Safety, Accounting, and more.

This Internship may require you to travel to different facilities.

For this requisition, we are looking for students pursuing Undergrad degrees related to the key areas/majors below:
- Environmental
- Sustainability
Students with graduation anticipated in 2023 or 2024 will be preferred. Rising Senior Interns may be considered for our 2023 Early Career Development Program (Full Time) roles.
