Technical Documentation Spring Intern

Pega is changing the way the world builds software. This role partners with cross-functional teams; including, but not limited to, consulting, partners, marketing, operations, and client community. You’ll be (virtually!) collaborating with team members who were former consultants and thought leaders in our organization. 

What You’ll Do at Pega: 

  • Provide support to content delivery systems while enforcing quality, content structure, version control, and publishing strategies that support multiple deliverables and formats 
  • Conduct daily merges of source repositories to ensure releases are in synchronization 
  • Provide Git support to content authoring teams 
  • Create transforms to support build automation and processes 
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily Scrum meetings to ensure the timely delivery of content delivery enhancements 
  • Contribute content and ideas to the Tech Doc Guidebook in the form of procedures and infographics 
  • Develop a thorough understanding of build and infrastructure tools and markup languages used to support content development 
  • Research information product design and usability 
  • Provide support to analytics and intake processes 
  • Use data to drive proposals for content and process enhancements 
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, while keeping quality high and meeting deadlines 
 
 
Who You Are: 

You are a motivated, collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills and proven experience working with diverse teams of business users and IT teams.  
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, technical writing, or a related field 
  • Previous Technical Writing experience with a focus in SaaS products is preferred 
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills 
  • Self-starter able to work well independently as well as in various team settings 
  • Intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn new skills, and contribute ideas 
  • Excited by complex problems and new challenges 
  • Eager to work in an agile environment
