Intern- Procurement

Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with Subcontractor Sourcing, Selection, and Qualification 
  • Conduct Supplier set up process 
  • Manage Supplier risk mitigation through Environmental Health and Safety audits 
  • Assist in Subcontractor Agreement completion and updates 
  • Assist with general Maintenance of our Subcontractor Suppliers 
  • Identify Cost Containment opportunities 
  • Guide Performance Management programs 
  • Help improve Professional Services integration into Subcontract Management Organization 
  • Work with our Thermal, Third Party, Edge, and Battery Subcontractor Managers to manage Subcontract Supplier invoicing, payment, and other issues, as needed 
  • Assist team with Data reporting, distribution of communications to our Subcontract supply base, and training on Vendor Portal. 
Requirements: 

  • Currently pursuing degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field  
  • Prior Internship or Co-Op experience 
  • Excellent Communication and Listening Abilities 
  • Good Organization Skills, Resourceful and Diplomatic 
  • Ability to work in a Team environment 
  • Good understanding of Project related Time Sensitivity and ability to adjust as challenges present themselves 
POSITION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 

  • This position is in the company’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Travel is not required.
