Folsom Excellence Communications Intern JR0188806

Job Description
The Folsom Excellence team's responsibilities at Intel is to positively impact each employee on campus through amazing experiences and events inside and outside of the campus. Within this benefit program, our goal is to build a community within Intel that keeps employees engaged and appreciated while having fun! We are responsible for many site wide communications and serving a population with fun events for over 6000 employees in Folsom, CA.
 
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Weekly communications to the entire Intel Folsom campus.
  • Managing our program of random winner selection and ticket distribution for events at the Golden 1 Center and Raley's field.
  • Assisting and occasionally being the program manager of site wide events.
  • Marketing and communications for the Folsom Excellence Program which may include web design, photoshop, and other marketing programs.
  • Ideal candidate:- High enthusiasm, positivity, and working well in a team.- Ability to make suggestions and bring new and fresh ideas to the team.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the area of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Computer Science or a related field.
Your experience will be in the following:
  • Experience in group communications including writing newsletters.
  • Experience in photoshop.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Java-based development.
  • Experience in web development.
Must be available for do a minimum 9 to 12 month term fulltime internship and this is not a summer internship.
This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with three years’ related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor’s degree and less than three years’ experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)
