Nurse Practitioner Opportunities

Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), affiliated with UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program, is seeking Nurse Practitioners in the following areas:

Emergency Medicine:  The selected applicant will work in the Emergency Department (ED) at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno, California. CRMC is the only Level 1 Trauma Center/Burn Center serving multiple counties in Central California and is a teaching institution with Residency programs in all of the major medical specialties. Nurse Practitioners practice in all areas of the ED, seeing a wide range of acuities, and performing advanced procedures. Emergency medicine faculty are leaders within EM:RAP, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants. The department also has an active EMS, ultrasound, research, and wilderness medicine program.

Pulmonary Medicine: The selected applicant will work in the Department of Medicine within the Division of Pulmonary Medicine (PCCM) at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC). The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be an integral part of the PCCM division and work with UCSF Fresno faculty. APP will primarily work with faculty assisting with evaluation and ongoing care of patients seen at the Outpatient Pulmonary clinic sites. APP will have 4-6 half-day clinics in a given week, and typically carries a workload of 8-10 outpatients each half-day clinic. Rest of the time may be devoted in assisting with inpatient Pulmonary consultations patients during the day.

Dermatology: The selected applicant will work in a full-service dermatology practice offering medical, pediatric, and surgical dermatology. This office sees some of the most challenging dermatologic problems, rare skin disorders, genetic mutations, complicated exanthemas, and other autoimmune diseases. Services provided include: Photodynamic Therapy, UVA & UVB treatment, Dermatologic Surgery, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Two years general Dermatology experience is required.

OB/GYN:  The selected applicant will work with our OB/GYN faculty members to participate in the delivery of direct patient care, assessment, including documentation, treatment and patient/family education and support in our outpatient clinic at Family Healthcare Network at the Community Regional Medical Center campus. This position may include responsibility for education, research, and administrative services.  

Psychiatry: The selected applicant will work with the Psychiatry Division at the Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) & will work under Psychiatry faculty members providing outpatient psychiatric services.
