Information Technology Intern (Spring 2023 - Enterprise Applications)

The Information Technology Intern will report to the Manager of IT Enterprise Applications and work other IT team members in person in our Cincinnati, OH office during the Spring 2023 semester. Start and end dates are flexible and tailored to your school schedule. Hopeful application timeline: application will be open until November 4th with interviews taking place in November and a final decision made early December.

Phillips Edison’s operating platform provides retail services including acquisition, redevelopment, leasing and management of grocery-anchored retail centers.


What you’ll do:

The Information Technology Intern will report to the Manager of IT Enterprise Applications and work other IT team members in person in our Cincinnati, OH office.
  • Assist in functional team duties, including systems integration design and development, vendor software setup and configuration, completion of IT support requests, application and technology research.
  • Participate in business process reviews as required by IT staff
  • Assist in gathering software requirements from various business units
  • Develop new software integrations as needed
  • Write report design specifications based on business requirements


What you’ll learn:

  • Throughout the internship term this role provides the student with the following:
  • Learn the IT process and systems used within the IT department
  • Learn or further develop the process of documenting work performed on projects and communicating effectively with supervisors and company personnel
  • Further develop skills required to interact with other professionals at varying levels of the company
  • Further develop time management skills and the ability to be responsible for more than one project at a time


What we’re looking for:

  • A current university student enrolled in a degree seeking program studying Computer Science, Information Systems or another business-related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Ability to work independently, with direction and guidance, and on a team (as needed)
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to balance multiple priorities at once
