Customer Operations Specialist Intern

Job Responsibilities
As the Customer Operations Specialist Intern, you will be empowered to leverage your initiative and interpersonal skills by supporting Return Material Authorization (RMA) processing, providing repair and upgrade status, preparing shipping documents, validating and entering data, generating recurring reports, and coordinating with third-party service centers. You will take responsibility for extracting and verifying key contractual information from contracts, purchase orders, and other documentation before entering the information into the Oracle business systems. You will use your problem-solving skills to help resolve shipping and billing issues by interfacing and flowing contractual information to other departments such as Operations and Finance. You will help represent the customer operations team and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Logistics or related field 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Superior problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to establish a rapport with colleagues and work well in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in ERP systems and/or database management systems
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with a multitude of cross-functional teams
  • Ability to proactively identify potential administrative issues that could complicate contract fulfillment and propose mitigating solutions
  • Able to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship

Preference

  • Experience with AI and/or automated order entry tools
  • Oracle/SAP/Salesforce experience is highly desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Visio
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and understanding contracts and purchase Order information
