Human Resources Internship - Summer 2023

Your Role: What you'll be doing
  • Internship will be focused on Compensation and Benefit Programs, HR Policies and Procedures, as well as learning various HR Systems
  • Interns will support one or more experienced business professionals in performance of assignments and have unique assignments that support key HR initiatives as well as experience the day-to-day workings of the business side of the aerospace industry
  • Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which help them build a strong network within the ULA community and with fellow interns
Your Background: What education and experience you'll need
  • Must have completed at least a second year of college or university by the time of the summer internship assignment.
  • Must have a minimum college GPA of 2.90 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application; cumulative, no rounding. NOTE: An unofficial transcript is required if you are invited for an interview. We recommend you upload it to your profile when you apply.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and motorized vehicle transportation if assigned an internship in Alabama; California; Florida; Pueblo, Colorado; or Texas. For Denver, Colorado and Washington, DC, motorized transportation is recommended.
Required Skills
  • Actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from an accredited college/university
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Effective presentation, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to leverage analytical and quantitative skills while reviewing hard data and/or metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • Ability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer of 2023

Additionally, ULA Interns work a “9/80 schedule,” meaning they enjoy every other Friday off.
