Our Human Resources team helps attract, retain, and engage employees by creating programs to help them thrive. They accelerate company growth as stewards of culture, organizational effectiveness, talent and change. The global Human Resources community includes experts in talent planning, talent acquisition, talent development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and more. Together, they develop a motivated, diverse and engaged global team. As a Converse Human Resources (HR) Intern, you will have the opportunity to collaborate, gather/provide insights and help steward strategic projects in partnership with HR Business Partners, HR Managers, HR Centers of Excellence (COE), and HR Direct partners.   
 
You will have the opportunity to understand the inner workings of an HR Team and get exposure to (and play an active role in) our talent strategy and how we execute that strategy. You will help build out our plans to grow Converse organizations, employee experiences, and capabilities to shape the next generation of talent.  
   
 
You will:  
  • Develop and build a framework for identifying critical competencies and transferable skills for early career roles 
  • Build inclusive and equitable processes to identify the right talent for those roles 
  • Work with the business to identify those roles and create role profiles for those critical roles  
  • Help build intentional cross-functional talent pools and experiences for employees at Converse, with a focus on increasing talent movement and career advancement for underrepresented groups 
  • Define roadmaps for execution and how we track progress  
 
 
REQUIREMENTS 
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2023 or Spring/Summer 2024 
  • Prior experience in human resources or other related skills preferred 
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Tableau, MS Outlook, PowerPoint and/or KeyNote, Word, Excel. 
  • Strong organizational/planning skills and the ability to multi-task effectively 
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, strong communication skills; written and verbal 
  • Confidentiality, discretion and good decision making are required 
  • Ability to create documents and provide reporting/analysis  
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and comfort in working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
