Riverside is seeking a passionate nurse manager to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) team in Norwood! This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated behavioral health professionals!
 
In this important role, the Nurse Manager oversees the provision of health services to the people served by the Behavioral Health Services Division (BHS). The CBHC Nurse Manager will oversee/manage the provision of integrated health services to the individuals served at the CBHC, including: medical screenings, medical case management, injections, medication assisted treatment, and medical clearance for higher level of care. In collaboration with Senior Leadership, the Nurse Manager will develop and reinforce procedures, policies and workflows for managing client needs and integration within and between CBHC components. The Nurse Manager will provide direct care in addition to management.
 
Primary responsibilities for the Nurse Manager includes:
  • Creates workflows, procedures and policies in collaboration with Director of Nurses (DON), nursing staff, and leadership.
  • Ensures medical/nursing services are integrated into the treatment teams and are in accordance with the individuals’ service plan
  • Manages (hires, orients/trains, supervises, and completes performance evaluations) for direct reports and other medical/nursing staff as needed.
  • Uses EHR and other reports to inform decision making and quality of care adjustments
  • Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives, and as needed, leads the initiative if nursing-driven
  • Informs and supervises the induction and dose changes with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with prescriber and Medical Assistant.
  • Provides opioid overdose training and Medication Administration Program (MAP) training to Riverside staff within MAP programs
  
Pay Rate: $90,000 annual salary

Required Skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer fluency, including Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver’s License and regular access to a reliable vehicle
 
Required Experience
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse required. Must be in good standing with the Board of Registration of Nursing. BSN preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a behavioral health setting
  • Experience with addictions and Medication Assisted Treatment
  • At least one year of supervisory/managerial experience preferred
