2023 Summer Intern Program - Financial Planning & Analysis (Servicing) – June 2023 to August 2023 (Must be local to DFW Area)

The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern supports Servicing Operations managing revenue and expense planning, financial forecast models, financial reporting & analysis, the identification of revenue and expense trends to improve profitability and related process improvement initiatives across the Mortgage Servicing business segment
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze a wide range of information for inclusion in the strategic planning process
  • Assist in the quarter-end earnings process
  • Work with internal colleagues to gather and analyze financial data
  • Assist in tracking, analyzing and summarizing analyst estimates
  • Assist in developing new PowerPoint decks for monthly business reviews and other ad-hoc projects
A Great Opportunity to:

  • Learn about strategy and investor communications.
  • Develop strong financial modeling skills in
  • Excel, MS SQL
  • knowledge of current status of mortgage market
  • Learn Key macro- economic drivers in the mortgage industry
  • Learn stock valuation methods
Qualifications:

  • Must be working towards a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or equivalent
  • GPA 3.5 or above
  • Great work ethic and desire to learn (critical)
  • Finance or accounting background
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must be a Senior Undergrad or in a Graduate Program
  • Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (Currently, our organization is unable to support candidates that are on OPT, CPT or candidates that will need sponsorship, now or in the future)
