Accounting Internship - Summer 2023

Internships are onsite at our Store Support Center in Ankeny, Iowa, where you'll volunteer within our community, attend social outings, hear from our senior leadership team, and make some pizzas, of course!
As an Accounting Intern, you will work primarily with the accounting team on internal controls and annual reporting activity, as well as the Finance team on special projects. Components of this role will include year-end financial reporting, external audit requests, general accounting assistance and 401k financial reporting preparation. Work with the General Ledger and the accounting team on month end closing process as well as other various projects.
Qualifications:
- Completion of some Accounting or Finance courses
- Currently working on completion of Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Extensive Excel knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
