How you will make an impact:
Primary responsibilities for the Solutions Analyst Intern may include:

  • Analyze statistical data, create visual representations, and identify actionable, data-driven recommendations
  • Build or enhance performance dashboards or reporting tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to examine current state processes, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend incremental, future-state process improvements
  • Conduct market research, synthesize information, and frame business recommendations
  • Research, identify, and implement business efficiency opportunities
  • Collaborate with business partners and key stakeholders on information gathering and program/project status reporting
  • Assist in preparation of reports and communications for business unit leadership
Examples of previous projects for this role: 

  • Developed Tableau-based dashboard to track consumer experience initiative projects and metrics
  • Conducted chat adoption data analysis and delivered data-driven recommendations to improve chat adoption by members
  • Researched and mapped current coordination of benefits process for Medicare and Medicaid, identified consumer experience pain points related to coordination of benefits, and recommended “quick fix” and future-state process improvements to enhance consumer experience
Qualifications:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university with a target graduation date between May 2023 and May 2024 in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Economics or a related major
  • Available to work 40 hours per week June 5th to August 11th
  • Enrolled fulltime at an accredited college or university during internship
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
Preferred Skills:

  • Strong statistical data analysis and data visualization skills
  • Ability to research and synthesize findings into recommendations
  • Experience documenting process and workflows or developing process maps
  • Project coordination, including deliverable/milestone tracking, risk management reporting, and status update reporting preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of competence with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint required
  • Experience with Tableau, Visio, and MS Teams preferred
  • Six Sigma white or yellow belt certifications preferred
  • Active in case study competitions or consulting clubs
