Finance Intern (Summer 2023)

Arconic is currently in search of Finance Interns to join our Corporate Headquarters Team in Pittsburgh, PA.
Selected candidates will be offered a position in one of three areas: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)Financial Shared Services or Treasury. As an intern for Arconic Finance, you will be a valued member of a high-performance team serving a Fortune 500 company. The purpose of the Internship Program is to introduce students to Arconic through a challenging and rewarding experience in the planning and forecasting, accounting, credit, cash management, commodity trading and/or corporate finance areas. Following the Internship, you may be invited to join Arconic as a Full-Time employee.
As an intern, candidates will:
  • Attend orientation where you’ll learn about Arconic’s culture, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of the company
  • Receive area-specific training designed to help you succeed

JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Responsibilities
  • The purpose of the Internship Program is to introduce students to Arconic through a challenging and rewarding experience in the planning and forecasting, accounting, credit, cash management, commodity trading and/or corporate finance areas.
  • The candidate will be working on projects and/or process improvement initiatives and interacting with the Corporate and business unit finance leaders on the overall daily activities.
Basic Qualifications
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, economics or statistics.
  • Must have an expected graduation date in late 2023 or Spring/Summer of 2024.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Share an affinity for working with numbers and data.
  • Possess strong leadership competencies, and strong team and analytical skills; strategic thinking skills; dedication and enthusiasm for work in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team; and the ability to understand complex business issues.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, along with an overall level of expertise in MS Office environments.
  • Involvement with one or more extracurricular activities, work-study or off-campus jobs, and/or volunteer positions.
