Where You Come In:  
KCF Technologies is seeking participants in many areas of study to contribute to our high-performing teams as part of the Future Innovators Internship Program . This 10-week, full-time paid program June 5 – August 11 will take place at our KCF Headquarters in-person, or remotely, depending on where home is for you and what your position is. With our work from home, work from anywhere policy, the choice of where to work is yours for most of our roles! 
Our home base is our headquarters in State College, PA, but you will find KCF Teammates spread across 26 different U.S. States with our flexible remote model. We give you the autonomy to define how and where you do your best work!

Essential Functions:
  • Act as full cycle recruiter for assigned positions. This requires working with the hiring manager to understand the needs of the position, posting jobs, screening applicants, presenting potential candidates to the hiring managers, as well as coordinating and scheduling multi-stage interviews
  • Generate job postings and any materials necessary to share positions with the marketplace/jobseekers. This includes any methods indicated: KCF and other websites, job boards, staffing agencies, schools and universities, etc.
  • Fill KCF’s talent funnel with top talent by sourcing via social media and other platforms for qualified candidates; bring creative new sourcing ideas or avenues to fuel candidate pipeline for competitive positions
  • Act as the liaison to applicants for assigned positions throughout the recruitment and selection process, representing the culture and values of the organization and answering any questions
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure offers of employment and any background checks are timely, accurate and executed properly
  • Maintain details of computer or other systems used to manage the Talent Acquisition function including but not limited to ATS, HRIS, AAP, EEO reporting, assessments and background checking.
  • Track data and information necessary through reporting to support Talent Acquisition goals
  • Communicate to all applicants not selected for positions as necessary. Disposition candidates in systems as appropriate; close positions once filled
  • Maintain the employee referral program or other internal programs that generate interest in KCF as an employer
  • Responsible for developing systems and mechanisms to complete the company’s EEO and Affirmative Action reporting requirements; acts as the EEO and AA “officer” for the company
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations in all recruitment and selection activities
  • Participate in the learning and development rotational opportunities on the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Experience Teams
 
Qualifications: 
  • Currently enrolled in a HR, Employee Relations, Business, Communications, Engineering, or other related degree program as at least a 2nd year student
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal & written
  • Recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment a plus
  • Direct experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Greenhouse highly preferred
  • Experience using social media recruiting methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Proficient in use of social media platforms
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally across a variety of teams
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO requirements a plus
  • Ability to start an assignment or project from scratch and drive to completion
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, and independent thinking habits in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
