Student Trainee (Engineering or Architecture)

Pathways Internship positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to:

Civil Engineer (0810): Civil engineers typically provide advisory services in the planning and design process, and engineering management services for design, construction, sustainment, and decommissioning projects.

Environmental Engineer (0819): Environmental engineering work emphasizes mitigation or remediation of harmful environmental effects, recycling and recovery of natural resources, and ensuring public health and safety.

Mechanical Engineer (0830): Mechanical engineering work involves the design, development, commission, manufacture, operation, maintenance, and disposal of mechanical devices and systems and their equipment and/or components.

Electrical Engineer (0850): Electrical engineers are concerned with the practical application of electricity. They design and develop electrical equipment and systems.

Architect (0808): Architects design of a variety of structures, guiding its development from inception to completion, consult on architectural problems for field construction personnel, other engineering personnel and specification writers
