Marketing Specialist Intern

Job Responsibilities


This intern assignment is for the Commercial Aviation product team and will focus on product marketing. You'll work closely with our Product Marketing manager to monitor and analyze market trends and develop sales & marketing resources to drive market adoption.
  • Compile industry news and trends to help the product and sales teams identify and capitalize on market trends
  • Enrich competitive intelligence knowledge base, with ongoing monitoring or competitor news and messages
  • Conduct social listening analysis to understand consumer perception and find opportunities for market education
  • Identifying gaps and exposing opportunities in the customer journey and sales processes
  • Support market research initiatives and experiments to guide product messaging and development efforts
  • Assist in the development of product content to communicate Viasat value propositions to the market
  • Above all, you'll be a champion for the Viasat brand and will help drive products and services to better serve our customers. If you're interested in the intersection of go to market, customer experience, and product marketing, this may be the role for you.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Creative thinker with an interest in the connection between Sales, Product, and Marketing
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic, creative, self-motivated and able to take the initiative

Preferences

  • Previous work or internship experience in a customer-centric environment
