Legal Services Technical Intern (Year-Round)

The Legal Division Systems and Support team plays a critical role in enabling, supporting, representing, and protecting the Legal Division at SAS. As a member of this dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of technical projects related to both current and soon-to-come (new) business systems and processes.
 
As an intern, you might:
  • Use the ServiceNow Knowledge Base to create and maintain accurate and concise documentation that clearly explains concepts to customers of various technical backgrounds.
  • Perform the research needed to understand and document assigned topics.
  • Participate in updating and transitioning legacy documentation into the Knowledge Base.
  • Assist team members with the completion of varied business functions.
  • Complete tasks related to current projects and the implementation of new business systems.

  • Work Hours: Available to work full-time hours during the summer of 2023 and 15-20 hours per week during the academic year.
  • Targeted majors: Technical Writing, Business IT, Computer Science, Communications
  • Required skills/qualifications
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to understand complex, technical details and translate those into concise documents.
  • Self-motivated and able to multitask across multiple projects.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a contributing member of a team.
 
Nice to haves
  • Experience in a technical writing environment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
