Finance Internship (10-week summer commitment)

H&R Block, the world’s leader in tax preparation services, is looking for exceptional students in the It and Computer Science spaces for EMBARK, our 2023 Summer Internship Program. As an intern, you will work at our corporate headquarters in the premier downtown Power & Light District of Kansas City, where everything is either steps or a streetcar ride away.
Our office offers an onsite fitness gym and Starbucks, an awesome company cafeteria, free parking, and more. At H&R Block, we provide college students real-life work experience that directly correlates to their field of study while making a valuable contribution to our organization.
Embark is a 10 week paid internship experience from May 22, 2023 - August 4, 2023.
- Housing is provided for those living more that 50 miles from the KC Metro
- Compensation is $20-25/hour
- Paid PTO from July 3rd - July 7th for H&R Blocks Annual Reboot Week
Day to day you'll ...
Throughout the 10 week internship, some of your internship responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the execution of various company-wide financial processes such as forecasting, business planning, or development
- Analyze data and assist in the preparation of various financial statements
- Assist with daily treasury operations and special projects
- Other department specific responsibilities.
- H&R Block interns will be provided significant guidance and mentoring but must also be able to work independently
