2023 Seasonal Accounting Clerk
Under close supervision, the Accounting Clerk assists with various accounting tasks and other assignments as designated by the Senior or Manager. Novogradac is hiring Seasonal Accounting Clerks to explore our firm for busy season 2023 (January 2023 through the end of April 2023).
Your Contributions and Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and successfully execute all types of business requests
- Coordinate completion of client requests as directed by partners and managers through team communication
- Assist with accounting and tax return projects and ad hoc projects as assigned
- Conduct business specific research – gather and analyze data, interpret results, compile reports and make recommendations to principals and partners
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Your Background and Skills
- Exhibit a basic understanding of accounting and tax rules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Associate’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance, and/or appropriate balance of education and work experience
- Perform work accurately and in a time efficient manner, with strong attention to detail, organization and follow through
- Strong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word & Excel) and report writing tools
- Maintain a professional demeanor with co-workers and clients
- Adhere to internal Firm deadlines (time entry)
- Available to work evenings and weekends based on position needs
