2023 Summer Intern – Tax Advisory Services

Our 10-week Summer Analyst program is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in tax advisory. The program includes formal training, mentoring, networking events, and real-world projects that provide an invaluable look into tax advisory and life as a Full-Time Analyst.

As a Summer Intern in the Tax Advisory practice at Stout, you’ll be a key contributor to multiple projects over the course of the program, advising public and private clients across a variety of services, income tax accounting, public company readiness, M&A consulting and general tax advisory services.

At Stout, you are engaged in real work right away. 

As a Summer Analyst, your day-to-day contributions might include:
•   Supporting clients across a variety of transactions, including M&A and IPOs;
•   Researching complex tax accounting topics and drafting summaries or memos;
•   Preparing tax provisions and related footnote disclosures; and
•   Supporting accounting advisory for newly-acquired private equity-backed companies.

Qualifications / Skills / Requirements:
•   Pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting
•   Strong academic record
•   Demonstrated interest in tax advisory
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•   Strong attention to details and organizational skills
•   Collaborative with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
•   Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
•   Must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship
