Design Assurance Intern
The Design Assurance Intern will be responsible for the testing products to ensure they are fit for purpose and can achieve the appropriate standard of performance prior to market release. The intern will report to the Design Assurance Manager and work in the quality department.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide test data on product’s readiness to release to production as well as:
- Engineering product development testing and reporting
- Design assurance testing
- Special handling testing
- Field return testing
- Procedure development
- Life testing
- Legal testing
- Customer required testing
- Calibration of equipment
- Responsible for assisting with:
- Lab safety and functionality
- Maintenance of equipment
- Product testing database
- Responsible for evaluating:
- Artwork
- Product specifications
- Manuals
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program at a University/College in an Engineering or similar technical field
- Strong knowledge of Engineering discipline, Electrical Engineering background preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
