2023 Summer Internship | Design and Photography Intern 
School Year: Sophomore, Junior, Senior or master’s Students  
Dates of the Internship: June 1st, 2023 – August 4th, 2023 
Format and Location: Hybrid, Bowling Green, KY 
 
Camping World is looking for interns for the summer 2023 internship season to work closely within the Marketing department. As an intern, you will assist with the daily operations and gain first-hand experience in the field. We are looking for someone who is driven and wants to be fully immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn and have a strong interest in Marketing and want to further develop yourself as a professional; this is the ideal role for you. Camping World internships are ten-week, full-time, paid internships that will provide a great opportunity for those that want to jumpstart their careers.    
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Be able to identify necessary pre- and post-production steps required to successfully deliver a video project 
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage time and resources on a deadline 
  • Responsible for data management of photography 
  • Be able to work independently, while also contributing to a team environment 
  • Demonstrate the ability to shoot and edit videos 
  • Ability to lift/move heavy equipment for video shoots 
  • Enjoys filmmaking and the outdoors 
  • Understand Company functioning in relation to the Marketing Department 
  • Fulfill tasks set out by supervisors within your assigned department 
  • Attend staff meetings to remain updated on projects and changes within the department 
  • Participate in Internship Program events  
  • Assist in researching and preparing information  

Qualifications: 
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Communications, or Video Production 
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA  
  • Familiar with DSLR cameras + lens for video and photography (Sony) 
  • Deep understanding of lighting (3-point lighting for interviews/small productions) and Audio recording (Studio/Field recording)  
  • Proficient with Adobe Suites CC (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition) 
  • Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor and strict confidentiality of company information  
  • Excellent video production skills 
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills  
  • Must be diligent, organized, ambitious, and extremely detail-oriented 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes and manage time well 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment with the ability to multitask and keen attention to detail 
  • Strong work ethic with sense of urgency to resolve issues promptly 
  • Able to report in-person to Bowling Green Camping World office once a week
