Creative Content Internship Summer 2023

The Creative Content Intern will support the Marketing and Communications team by documenting artist rehearsals, performances, and the 2023 Philadelphia Fringe Festival overall leading up to and during the Festival (September 7—24, 2023). Working collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team as well as the Independent Artist Program Manager, they will engage with artists at various stages in the process and create written and visual content on the blog and social media to support them in their marketing, PR, and audience engagement efforts. 

Responsibilities: Communicate with artists about their performances and rehearsal times. Attend and document FringeArts pre-Festival events like Festival Preview Nights. Travel to artists’ rehearsals and interview performers and producers. Create website, blog, and social media content. Respond to artist invitations to attend and shoot performances throughout the Fringe Festival at Festival hubs and on-site at FringeArts.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong photography and video skills, is self-motivated, and possess a sense of humor. Experience with Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro preferred.

Hours: 20 hours per week preferred, includes remote evening hours
