We are looking for motivated and resourceful hospitality minded students to be part of our 2023 Team, and exciting 8th Season at Mendocino Grove.
Mendocino Grove is regarded as one of the top Glamping sites in the US.
Located on the beautiful Northern California Coast, the 37 acre, 60 tent campground is in close proximity to the gorgeous beach at Big River, Historic Town of Mendocino and the majestic Navarro River. Mendocino Grove is a seasonal business open May 1-November 30. During this time we offer 6 paid intern positions with housing.
If selected for the intern program you will be exposed to all aspects of our business including: Front Desk, Reservations, Guest Relations, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Grounds Management, Events, Events Marketing and Social Media Marketing. You will also become well versed in our reservation system and receive extensive training in guest relations.
Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to select one area of interest around which a work project will be created and facilitated by upper management or ownership depending on focus. Past projects include: Social Media Marketing, Event Marketing, Grounds Management and Strategic Planning.
We require a minimum 6 month commitment from participants to be eligible for the intern program. With prior approval, there is the possibility of creating a work schedule to accommodate continuing classes virtually at your college or university during your time with us.
We are hoping to interview throughout the rest of February and March. Let me know if there is anything else we can do on our end to attract the best students.
