Market Strategy Intern
Job Introduction
Who We Seek:
We are seeking a rising senior to serve as an intern working to conduct strategic analysis of a Maximus capability for Summer 2023 with the aim of transitioning to a full-time role post-grad. Qualified candidates must be strategic thinkers able to pull from primary and secondary data to develop a clear, well researched picture of current and future trends in the capability.
What You Will Do:
The goal of the internship will be to complete an analysis of a capability Maximus posses in the market that concludes with a go to market strategy. This will include researching current and future trends, opportunities, and challenges within said capability. Once research is completed, you will create a PowerPoint presentation on the capability and present to senor executives.
Qualifications:
- Rising Senior or Graduate student completing their degree in 2024
- Demonstrated experience in performing independent research towards a project end goal
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct business analysis to support the Business Development department.
- Support process improvements and project deliverables.
- Research potential market trends.
- Assist in special projects in the Business Development department.
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and other tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a college degree in a related field.
- Must have completed a minimum 2 years of coursework.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Skilled in standard computer applications and platforms such as Outlook and MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities with superior attention to detail.
