Accounting Intern (Credit)
You will report to the Credit Manager - North America. You will be responsible for accuracy and reliability of your account master.
You will look for process improvement and contribute to overall effectiveness of our Credit Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage our customer accounts
- Identify and investigate all past due accounts
- Recommend past due invoices and account items/balances for write off
- Manage our customer debit resolution process by working with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Warranty, Plant Personnel as applicable
- Document collection efforts
- Post our customer payments
- Review and send out monthly statements
- Help be back-up for others on the team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficiency with Word and Excel
- Proficiency with SAP
- Team-oriented person but can work independently
- Knowledge of accounting principals
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Pursuing the associate's or bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance
