Intern, Case Study Designer

What We Can Achieve Together:

The Policy Strategy & Learning Team works to increase The Nature Conservancy’s effectiveness in leveraging policy to achieve durable, transformational results for people and nature at scale. The team generates content and supports development of tools and resources to build policy knowledge and capacity and strengthen policy influence effectiveness in support of The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) 2030 Goals.

 

 
In this role, you will have an opportunity to deep-dive into TNC’s policy work through the review of existing case studies and can directly contribute to the organization’s internal goal of amplifying the message of policy’s ability to transform and scale our conservation work.  


Responsibilities & Scope:

·      Coordinates and manages timeline for case study collection project.
·      Reviews existing case studies and offers catalogue classification for cases
·      Converts existing case studies into a standard, accessible, and reader-friendly format.
·      Duties are performed under general supervision and established guidelines.
·      Opportunity to act independently on assigned tasks and projects.
·      Works with others across TNC to execute projects/deliverables.
·      Design and produce a high-quality, interactive, case study collection

We’re Looking for You:

To join the team for a short-term assignment where you will be responsible for reviewing and cataloguing existing policy case studies then summarizing and transferring those case studies into an interactive PDF standard format. You will work closely with the PSL Team and other policy and communications staff as needed to execute this project. By the end of this assignment, you will deliver a high-quality, dynamic, interactive, Policy in Practice case study collection that will be accessible to ~4000 staff across the organization and present learnings to key staff across TNC.
 


What You’ll Bring:

·      6+ months experience working in a professional environment (remote or onsite)
·      Experience organizing and coordinating projects
·      Experience writing, proofreading and editing business, promotional and/or informational material
·      Fluency in English
·      Experience with writing, presentation, and communication
·      Experience with basic graphic design principles and how to apply them
