Dance, Aerial and Physical Theater Internships at Camp Weequahic

Every summer we welcome passionate, independent, and caring young adults to live and learn in our community. We call them interns and camp counselors, but the kids call them friends.

We are looking for Aerial and Physical Theater majors who want to train to be circus staff. Our circus program involves Aerial silks, lyra and flying trapeze. You are supervised by highly trained professionals who are hands-on and valued members of our community. You will gain extensive experience in Aerial Arts. All internships are resident, onsite at Camp Weequahic. 

Circus interns will educate, lead and manage over 150 hours during program time. Interns will also mentor and live with children for over 400 hours during residential life, trips and special events.

We promise that this will not be your typical internship. Interning at Camp Weequahic is an awesome opportunity to gain hands-on experience, all while making a difference in the life of a child and have a ton of fun doing it!
