Administrative Associate- Contract to Hire (6 months)

The Global Client Group (GCG) leads Dimensional's efforts to acquire long-term client relationships and increase the firm's reach in the marketplace. Using a team-based, collaborative system, GCG distributes the firm's financial science-based products and peerless client services across the globe.

Working closely with both institutions and financial advisors, GCG seeks to help clients meet their business goals and deliver a better investment experience. The Global Client Services Group (GCSG) collaborates with our sales teams and other departments around the firm to deliver an impeccable client experience and provide strategic resources to our clients. 

Part of GCSG, the US GCG Administrative Team supports leadership and Regional Directors through a variety of functions and manages processes that service all of GCG US. This position will be responsible for supporting core administrative functions for 8-12 Regional Directors:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports.
  • Assist with planning internal and external meetings and events.
  • Coordinate and execute email campaigns.
  • Submit Mimeo or warehouse orders for collateral requests.
  • CRM maintenance and projects.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with your team and across departments.
  • Various administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to bring positive energy to all situations and interactions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Able to exercise good judgement and discretion with confidential or sensitive tasks.
  • Able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Self-starter who can juggle multiple tasks at once through effective time management.
  • Can identify needs proactively and offer solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years administrative experience required.
  • Experience with online expense reporting tools; Concur is preferred.
  • Experience planning meetings and events.
  • Experience supporting multiple team members.
  • CRM experience a plus, specifically Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with investment advisory or mutual fund operations a plus.
