                                        Foster Care Treatment Team Leader


We are seeking an organized, self-motivated individual as a Treatment Team Leader for Sojourners’ Foster Care program.

Type of Position: Full-time, salaried. 40 hours per week.
Compensation: Salary $36,000-$40,000 annually. Eligible for full benefits.
Location:  Current headquarters is at Sojourners Family Center, 31860 Claypool Hollow Rd., McArthur, OH. Extensive work-related travel throughout the Southern Ohio region is required.
General Purpose: Sojourners’ Foster Care provides therapeutic foster care and adoption services for children in Southern and Central Ohio through partnerships with caring and supportive families.
The Treatment Team Leader is a professional treatment staff member as defined by OAC 5101:2-7-03 who is responsible for the coordination of the treatment team for young people placed in specialized treatment foster care homes.
Work Hours: The typical hours for this position are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday; however, some weekend and evening hours will be required.
Job Duties:
Foster Care Training Coordination and Compliance
·        Complete required documentation; monitor foster and adoptive caregiver files.
·        Document assessments, interactions, and training in SACWIS (Ohio’s Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System).
·        Develop and maintain knowledge and skills as a training and compliance specialist.
·        Complete all paperwork and reports in a timely and accurate manner. 
·        Participate in annual performance evaluation and monthly supervision.
Direct Service
·        Ensure availability for weekly consultation with foster caregivers.
·        Participate in weekly supervision with Sojourners’ Director of Family Support.
·        Complete Medicaid Electronic Service Entry for mental and behavioral support services provided to young people.
·        Review documentation of behavior intervention plans and Individualized Service Plans and provide feedback.
·        Monitor and coordinate delivery of necessary evaluations and assessments so each young person’s needs are identified.
·        Assist with crisis intervention to foster caregivers, young people and their families.
·        Regularly review and monitor services and progress notes. Reassess needs as specified by utilization review requirements or at each young person’s or their custodian’s request.
·        Have face-to-face contact with assigned young people in foster care at least two times each month.
Qualifications: 
·        Bachelor’s Degree in a human service-related field is required. Associate’s Degree may be considered if a Bachelor’s in a relevant field is obtained within 5 years.
·        Keyboarding skills—able to type with both speed and accuracy.
·        Computer competency—demonstrated experience in MS Excel, Word, and database programs preferred.
·        Experience working directly with families and/or case management experience preferred.
·        Valid driver’s license; Current auto insurance coverage; Must have clean driving record and be insurable by our insurance provider.
·        Able to pass Sojourners’ screening process, including drug screening and background checks.
