STUDENT TRAINEE (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)

Performs procedural and routine tasks and works closely with a team leader and/or supervisor, in a training capacity, on assigned tasks.In a training environment, work may involve systems and services used in the automated acquisition, storage, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, and switching.Assists in troubleshooting accessibility and availability problems and initiates corrective actions.Ensures basic application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of services.Performs a variety of limited technical tasks designed to familiarize the incumbent with regulatory guidelines, terminology, procedures and techniques of Information Technology.
