Credit and Personal Loan Intern
Summary of Responsibilities:
This position is for a 10-week Summer Internship. The Credit and Personal Loan Intern will support within Retail Banking and Transformation.
This 2025 Summer Internship is for undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.

- East Providence, RI.

Essential Functions:
- Perform Universal Consumer Loan processing
- Work to identify FCR (First Call Resolution) opportunities by way of call listening, identifying trends, strengths, and area of opportunity.
- Complete Quality observations, observing calls.
- Manage queues to determine optimal outreach candidates to move the application forward.
- Identify and own project.
- Team building exercise creation and implementation.
- Perform Business Analysis Functions
- Capacity Management, Staffing needs and coverage gaps.
- Daily Stat retrieval and review
- Work with Sharepoint updating information and creating forms, etc.
- Identify and own project.

- Supports in delivery of superior service to clients by driving and optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of people, processes and technology thereby enhancing financial performance, increasing investment capacity, and managing risk.
Requirements:
- An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2025 - Spring 2026
- Major in Business or related field
- A cumulative GPA or 3.0 or above
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced market environment
- Solid professional and personal work ethic
- Ability to work independently on special projects

Working Conditions:
- Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
- Travel to multiple facilities may be required.
- May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
- May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
- May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
- Corporate / satellite office role.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Salary: $52,000-$52,00/year
