Marketing and Events Intern

The Marketing and Events Intern will play a key role in supporting our marketing and events team in planning, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns and events. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including event coordination, content creation, and digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating various events, including (but not limited to) conferences, workshops, webinars, and product launches.
• Aid in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as social media posts, newsletters, and press releases.
• Support the team in conducting market research and analyzing trends to contribute to marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to develop engaging and creative promotional materials.
• Assist in managing social media platforms and analyzing their performance using analytics tools.
• Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth logistics and attendee satisfaction.
• Assist in post-event evaluation and reporting, gathering feedback, and assessing the success of marketing initiatives.

On-site Supervision and Support

Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance. 

Academic Credit

Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
