Process Engineer Analyst

The role involves leading process improvement tools and methods (such as 5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, time and motion studies) to minimize losses within a Distribution Center using the Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs. Key responsibilities include delivering functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and standard work to reduce process variation. The role assists in reviewing and responding to process improvement projects owned by area managers and applies new network One Best Way playbooks. Additionally, it provides input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities and supports tactical deployment of the WPS program methodology.

The role manages project execution to address significant losses, assists in developing the capabilities of area managers and associates, supports area loss profile analysis and performance metrics, and develops gap analysis for WPS integration. It further supports Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements. Additional responsibilities include leading savings projects within areas of responsibility, promoting and adhering to company policies and values, coordinating job-related activities, overseeing initiatives to meet business needs, providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
