Electrical Site Design Intern

May - August 2018 • Sunnyvale, CA

What I liked

I loved being involved on multiple projects across multiple industries and being able to actively contribute despite being an intern. Very open work environment where everyone is there to help and will offer inputs so that problems can get solved. Casual work environment where there is less emphasis on being business professional and more weight placed on problem solving skills and ability.

What I wish was different

I wish that there were better benefits such as a cafeteria, etc. as well as receiving more company branded items.

Advice

Very fulfilling experience where the work is challenging and the people around you want to help you to succeed in the projects given.

Mechanical Engineering Intern

May - August 2017 • Sunnyvale, CA

What I liked

Excellent project opportunities and experiences with a well-run internship program that gave mentorship and exposure to other parts of the company. I had the opportunity to work entirely on (and complete) one large project while also being able to work on several smaller projects - this allowed me to learn a lot in three short months.

Advice

It is important to ask questions and realize that in such a highly technical company there is so much you don't know.
