I loved the people I worked with and all the new things I’ve learned. I liked I got to learn a new software and also got some creative freedom.
What I wish was different
I wish I had other interns at my location.
Advice
Don’t get in your head and think you are supposed to know everything. It’s a learning experience and you should ask all the questions you have.

Electrical Engineering Intern
June - August 2019 • Greenwood Village, CO
What I liked
They had a great intern learning program and took time out of every week to teach interns different life advice like how to determine a benefits plan, managing a 401k, etc. I also was able to work on a variety of different projects and interact with people from different business units.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had more work to do in my business unit but at the same time, when there was a lull, I got to interact with people from different parts of the company which was neat.
Advice
Sometimes I had to be self-starting and offer to work on projects for people I wasn't directly assigned to. This was a result of the available work for that summer but everyone is incredibly nice and willing to help you.
