Journalism Intern

September - December 2017 • Frankfurt, Hesse

What I liked

I loved that I got to work closely with Church employees and missionaries to create content for the Church's news sources and conduct interviews to share their stories. I also loved that I got to travel around Europe as part of the internship and for fun.

What I wish was different

Because I was the first intern to take this position in the Church's European Humanitarian Office, I wish the job were more clear and organized. We were creating my job description as we went along, which was fun and offered great experience, but it also made the job difficult and sometimes frustrating.

Advice

Take every advantage you can to travel, meet people and experience different cultures.
