The money, plethora of hours and ability to end my contract when school was to start
What I wish was different
I did the same last summer and learned an extraordinarily amount about hard work and framing. especially when i jumped ship to work for the company tradesman contracted me out to. anyway i wish this summer i learned more about building, i thought the people i worked with didn't push me to learn by giving me the responsibility.
Advice
Construction is good money, learning these skills means you will always have a way to survive as well as the skills necessary to maintain a home without incurring great expenses. however construction is not for everyone, it hurts your body, it is dirty, it is not for the weak or lazy.
