Team Leader (TE3)

Bellingham/Mt. Vernon, WA – Northwest Region

$78,912 – $106,104 Annually

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking two skilled Transportation Engineer 3’s to serve as the Team Leaders in the Bellingham and Mt. Vernon project offices. The Team Leader reports to the Assistant/Project Engineer in the Project Office and is tasked with the delivery of the Design/Construction phases of multiple engineering projects. Position reports project status to management and performs the direct supervision and mentoring of up to eight Engineers and Technicians. Communication and coordination of Design/Construction activities with stakeholders, specialty groups, construction and maintenance personnel, local governments, and consultants. This position draws from existing knowledge, skills, and experience to review, analyze, and evaluate contract plans and supporting Contract documentation for accuracy and compliance with WSDOT standards and specifications quickly and accurately.
