Content Creator and Personal Assistant
Job Title: Content Creator & Personal Assistant Position Type: Independent Contractor Location: Remote / Cape Cod, MA (Travel for sessions required)
✨ About the Role:
Love and Lore Photography is seeking a talented and emotionally intelligent Content Creator & Personal Assistant to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is not only visually gifted but deeply attuned to storytelling, client care, and visual branding. This role blends artistry with logistics — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and is eager to grow their skill set across photography, videography, podcasting, and content strategy.
🛠 Key Responsibilities Creative Content Creation:
-Capture behind-the-scenes content during weddings, portrait sessions, and branding shoots using iPhone and/or Canon equipment
-Film and edit promotional videos, social media content, and podcast footage
-Contribute ideas and execute compelling visuals for Love and Lore’s social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest
-Shoot and edit podcast episodes: storyboarding, audio/visual capture, basic beat-making, and publishing
-Write and post blog content onto website and to be used in email marketing
Brand & Digital Support:
-Assist in the launch and maintenance of Love and Lore’s 2025 Website Initiative and e-commerce platforms (Etsy, Wix, and Pic-Time)
-Create branded illustrations and visual elements including occasional logo accents and web graphics
-Support email marketing efforts and organize reports, slide decks, and marketing insights
-Develop and implement sales funnels for marketing campaigns to increase lead generation and client conversions
Administrative & Client Support:
-Set up and break down photography and video equipment efficiently
-Offer emotional and logistical support to clients during shoots to create a calm, uplifting experience
-Maintain project calendars, attend weekly virtual meetings (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), and track task completion with accountability
-Contribute to a nurturing, growth-minded team culture grounded in excellence and empathy
📚 Required Skills & Experience:
-Strong creative instincts and visual storytelling ability
-Willingness to learn and master tools like:
- Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator
- Riverside.fm
- Canva
- Pic-Time
- Camtasia
-Demonstrated experience in social media content planning and scheduling
-High attention to detail, time management, and reliability
-Ability to lift and carry photo/video gear and assist with shoot logistics
-Positive, coachable attitude with a willingness to serve and grow
-Commitment to earning certifications in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO
-Commitment to attend all scheduled wedding and portrait sessions booked within 60 days' notice (exceptions may be discussed)
💵 Compensation & Time Commitment Weddings:
$400 per wedding day
Up to 10 hours of contracted work
Deliverables: 30+ edited reels
Portrait Sessions:
$100 per portrait session
Up to 2 hours of contracted work
Deliverables: 15+ edited reels
General Hourly Work:
$10 per hour (remote or hybrid options)
Rent-to-Own Program:
Eligible for Love and Lore’s camera equipment rent-to-own program
🚗 Travel Reimbursement
Airbnb accommodations with a private room will be provided for overnight travel
$0.50 per mile reimbursement for travel 90+ miles outside of Cape Cod
