Sales Executive

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Executive is an entry-level sales role responsible for generating new business opportunities and building relationships with brokers and employers for our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) services. After successfully completing our two-week, structured sales training program, the Sales Executive will be assigned to a defined geographic territory and expected to drive top-of-funnel activity, meet key sales metrics, and effectively position VerusRx in a competitive marketplace.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

·       Drive new business opportunities through proactive outreach, cold calling, and networking within assigned territory.

·       Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target employer groups and benefits consultants/brokers.

·       Generate qualified leads and manage the sales funnel from initial outreach to opportunity handoff.

·       Understand and clearly communicate PBM service offerings, pricing models, and competitive differentiators.

·       Maintain detailed records of sales activities in CRM systems and provide regular updates to sales leadership.

·       Meet or exceed defined KPIs and activity metrics related to outreach, meetings, and lead conversion.

·       Complete all requirements of the VerusRx Sales Executive Training Program, including certification and roleplay evaluations.

Other job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

·       Participate in ongoing sales and product training.

·       Attend company, team, or industry events as assigned.

·       Assist with marketing or promotional activities as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·       Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage a territory independently.

·       Understanding of CRM tools and software.

·       Currently enrolled in post-secondary education program from an accredited university or institution.
