The Real Estate Debt strategy seeks to achieve attractive risk-adjusted returns and produce current income by investing in real estate-related debt that is not anticipated to result in control of the underlying asset. The strategy specializes in debt-driven opportunities across the Real Estate group's six areas of investment focus (commercial real estate, corporate real estate, structure finance, commercial NPLs, residential real estate and non-U.S. real estate), and pursues a wide range of investments, including CMBS, commercial and residential mortgages, mezzanine loans, and corporate debt.

Responsibilities
Based in downtown New York, the Administrative Assistant will be part of the Real Estate team and will provide administrative support to members of the Real Estate team.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining calendars, contacts, scheduling meetings, and conference calls;
- Scheduling travel arrangements (domestic and international) and managing expense reports;
- Coordinating the execution and notarizing of legal documents to help facilitate closings;
- Reviewing, tracking and maintaining documents; following-up to obtain information as necessary;
- Printing and distributing monthly and quarterly reports;
- Maintaining the filing system;
- Answering, screening and managing incoming phone calls, faxes and mail;
- Performing other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant supporting multiple executives within a professional services firm;
- Strong writing and editing skills;
- Outstanding follow-up and organizational skills with a strong attention-to-detail;
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self initiating other value-added tasks; and
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook;
- Notary certification a plus, otherwise would be required to obtain upon joining (at Oaktree's expense);
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule; 4 days in office, 1 at home.

Education
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Base Salary Range
$60,000 - $100,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
