About the Company & Project

We are Alterea Inc., an experience design company based in Los Angeles, CA. Through live and digital mediums we create experiences that draw on historical research and emerging art forms to explore and highlight participant agency. Our core team met as undergraduates at the University of Southern California designing experiences that combined immersive theater and interactive gaming.

Agents of Influence is an in-development educational video game that teaches students critical media literacy skills such as research, analysis, and effective conversation. We are seeking a Legal Intern to join our team and support our work at the intersection of interactive media, education, and social impact. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, proactive, and excited to learn about the legal landscape of game development, IP, and nonprofit/startup operations. This person will gain real-world insight into the legal considerations that drive development, publishing, and commercialization in the edtech and gaming industries.

This is a part-time, remote, unpaid internship with the potential for increased responsibility and compensation based on performance.
